DO YOU OFFER FILM PHOTOGRAPHY?
I am working to incorporate this as an offering in mid-2027 & beyond!
WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE? AND DO YOU TRAVEL?
I am based in Ohio, serving Columbus, Cincinnati, and the surrounding areas. I'm also dual-based in Lexington, Kentucky - so no travel fees if you're getting married there. And absolutely! YES! I love to travel!
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE FROM OUR WEDDING?
Each session and wedding is so unique and different that putting a specific number is difficult! However, I ensure you that you will receive a TON of images. For wedding, a gallery typically ranges from 600-1,000 photos. With that said, I won’t ever cap the number of images I give you if I feel like they all are contributing to your overall story.
DO YOU HAVE BACK UP EQUIPMENT? ARE MY PHOTOS SAFE?
Absolutely! Not only do I have backup cameras and lenses, but my cameras have dual memory slots which means they’re backing up your images in real time. After your wedding, I go home and immediately back up all wedding photos to three different places.
WHAT IF WE ARE AWKWARD AND NOT COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
Trust me that everyone is worried about being awkward. Taking pictures is awkward unless you're a model and it doesn't phase you. And that’s exactly what I’m there for - to make you feel as comfortable as possible and for your session to be a blast. It will feel as if you are on a date, being prompted to love extra on your partner while capturing all the cuteness happening even though it might not feel like it. Trust me and trust the process.
DO I NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
I am super confident and capable of shooting all parts of your day solo. But there are plenty of benefits to having one. Some of the main things are the ability to be in two places at once, a different perspective, + overall more images.
DO YOU TAKE TRADITIONAL PHOTOS AS WELL?
I'm all about documenting authentic moments for exactly the way they looked. However, I think it's so important to have photos smiling directly at the camera, family photos, group photos, etc. So, don't worry, I'll totally be capturing those too! It just won't feel stiff and posed. I'll give you direction, so we have fun taking these types of photos as well.
DO WE GET SNEAK PEEKS?
Yes! I try my very best to get those pictures out to you within a 72 hour window. If I am traveling, then that window might be delayed a day or so longer,
DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY AS WELL?
I do not - it’s not in my skill set! But I do know plenty of amazing videographers and will send them your way!
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?
Most couples book me about 14-16 months before their wedding. It’s a good idea to inquire as soon as you sign the contract with your venue. Weekends between May-October usually get scooped up first!
DO YOU HAVE A FULL WEDDING GALLERY AS AN EXAMPLE?
Absolutely! I'd be happy to share full galleries with you, it's such an important part of the process. Fill out the contact form or send me an email!
DO YOU GIVE US THE RAW PHOTOS?
Definitely a no on this one. One of the reasons you're booking me is for the editing style. The magic happens during this process. My analogy for this is, you don't go to a restaurant and ask for the raw meat. You order and pay for the complete plated meal.
